"Civic TypeR" is more powerful and higher in performance than the traditional Civic produced also by Honda.The Type R model was produced for the first time in 1992 with Honda NSX type R which has come with a powerful body ,light weight and a tuned motor also brakes with big disc compared to the traditional models of Honda.
Civic type R the third generation was showed from three years in Europe ,and recently showed in the arabian market 2010 with the hatchback normal Civic.

Under the Hood:

Under the front hood,you can notice a powerful engine produced by Honda VTEC which produce 198HP @7800Rpm with maximum torque 193Nm @5600Rpm ,but this sportive edition is available in the Arabian market only with manual transmission 6-speed which transfer the torque to the front wheels, However its engine is very powerful it consumes only 9.1 Liter every 100Km.

Design:

Civic Type R contain sportive sets  covered with Alcantara Leather which is not available in other trims  of Civic .

This car comes with an automatic air condition ,Cruise control, trip computer ,tires 18 inch Bridgestone 225/40 with the option of choosing 19 inch wheel Yokohama sports.

Safety:

It contain ABS brakes ,front airbags and side airbags(curtains),and Civic Type R has taken  the highest ranking 5 points in the safety experiments euro NCAP.
