Nearly seven years ago dr. Ferdinand Beach, Chairman of the German Volkswagen Group at the time was able to drive the conceptual model called "car per liter" from Vosborg to Hamburg, as the first car in the world consume one liter per 100 km.
But it seemed at the time, that the possibility of giving the green light to production of such car-like spacecraft, and take advantage of the structure of lightweight carbon fiber and reinforced plastic, is unrealistic because the costs of production is high ,it was expected to cost about 35 thousand euros. Now it seems that the time has come to produce that car, "the Dream", especially since the German company made in September 2009, the second generation of the L1 in the case of a test closer to those designed for commercial mass consumption, and is expected to roam the roads by 2013.
