Adaptive cruise control:
Relaxed and comfortable on long journeys: adaptive cruise control can even be used on busy roads and in dense lines of traffic.
The system measures the distance to the vehicle ahead by means of a special radar sensor and controls the speed, ensuring it does not exceed the set value. In addition, adaptive cruise control automatically maintains a constant distance to the vehicle ahead.

If the driver’s intervention is required to sufficiently brake the vehicle, a signal is automatically given.
Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System:
Innovative design, advanced technology plus highest quality materials and workmanship: in partnership with the hi-fi specialists Bang & Olufsen, Audi has developed a sound system that sets new standards – for an unforgettable listening experience.
The Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System is equipped with a total of 14 speakers, each with its own output stage. The front tweeters using acoustic lens technology are among the most important elements of the new sound system. When the system is activated, two lens tweeters are automatically extended from the dash panel. These ensure an extremely accurate performance at every seat thanks to their precisely aligned horizontal sound distribution. In the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, two amplifiers provide more than 1,000 watts if required.
Audi lane assistant:
The lane departure warning system Audi lane assist helps the driver to stay in lane, thus preventing accidents. If the vehicle begins to wander out of its lane, the assistance system warns the driver by means of vibrations in the steering wheel. Audi lane assist does not actively intervene in the driving situation.
Audi lane assist detects lane markings by means of a camera on the front of the vehicle. The system is operational as soon as the camera detects road markings on both sides of the vehicle's lane. If the vehicle starts to drift towards one of the detected lane markings, vibrations in the steering wheel warn the driver that the vehicle is moving out of its lane. No warning is given if the driver is indicating with the turn signal. The system is designed for driving on motorways and main roads, and works at speeds above approx. 60 km/h.
Audi side assistant:
The lane change assistant Audi side assist aids the driver when changing lane. With its radar sensors in the rear bumper, the system monitors traffic in the driver’s blind spot. When a vehicle approaches from behind, the LED warning signal lights up.
The area beside and behind the vehicle is monitored by radar sensors at speeds above 30 km/h. When there is a vehicle in the blind spot or a vehicle is approaching rapidly from behind, the LED signal in the respective exterior mirror is continuously illuminated as a warning to the driver. If the turn signal is operated in this situation, the lights in the exterior mirror flash to alert the driver to the danger of a collision. Audi side assist does not actively intervene in the controlling of the vehicle and the driver may deactivate it at any time by pressing a button on the driver door.
Adaptive air suspension:
Audi adaptive air suspension successfully unites the apparently conflicting qualities of comfort and dynamic handling. With its combination of air suspension and a continuously variable, electronically controlled damper system, it adapts to every driving situation no matter how the vehicle is loaded.

A new design element provides an ingenious solution to the trade-off between handling dynamics and ride comfort: in all driving situations adaptive air suspension delivers the ideal spring-damper tuning by automatically optimising the suspension. The electronically controlled air spring system with continuously variable damping automatically adjusts the suspension to suit the current situation. The advantage: very sporty and comfortable handling whatever the driving situation.
It achieves this with fully load-bearing air springs on the front and rear axles combined with a continuously variable, electronic damping system. The permanent self-levelling function ensures that the vehicle body remains at the right attitude even with an asymmetrical load distribution. You can also select the suspension mode to give your Audi precisely the handling qualities you want. The driver can choose between the modes "automatic", "comfort", "dynamic" and "lift".
Audi parking system advanced:
The optional Audi parking system advanced with rearview camera shows you the area behind the car in the MMI display. Digital guidelines in the display make parking even easier.
Advanced key:
Look no further: the advanced key is an electronic access and authorisation system. To unlock and start the vehicle, you only have to have the key with you – there is no need to look for it and take it out of your pocket. That is real convenience.

As if by magic: as soon as the driver carrying the key stops within approx. 1.5 metres of the vehicle and moves his/her hand towards the door handle, the key is identified by means of a proximity sensor in the vehicle door and a radio pulse generator in the key housing. The vehicle is automatically unlocked when the door handle is pulled. For unlocking and starting the vehicle, the advanced key can stay in the driver’s pocket.
Another handy feature: if you only wish to open one specific door – without releasing the entire locking system – you can set the advanced key function accordingly via the MMI, if installed. Incidentally, the luggage compartment is unlocked independently.
Just get in and drive off, without touching the ignition lock – no problem with the advanced key. The steering and ignition are released via the integrated wireless transponder with no need to insert the key into the ignition lock. All further operations are carried out in the interior: lightly pressing the start/stop button on the centre console activates the ignition and the electronic engine immobilizer is released. The engine is started with the start/stop button and turned off again with the stop button. Pressing the stop button again locks the steering. As you get out of the vehicle, you only need to press the small locking button on the driver’s outer door handle and the vehicle is locked again.

Alternatively, you can of course use the advanced key just like a conventional key to unlock, lock and start the vehicle.
Seat Heating:
Always the right temperature: optional seat heating makes for a pleasant seat climate. Seat heating is a valuable asset especially when outside temperatures turn cool. The temperature of the driver and front passenger seats can be adjusted separately to suit the occupants’ individual preferences (also available for the outer rear seats if desired).

Take a seat and feel at ease: seat heating provides a comfortable and relaxing climate for the driver and front passenger. When the temperature is cold outside, the benefits of seat heating can be felt shortly after getting into the car, as the seat pleasantly warms your whole body. The seat heating temperature is adjusted with a rotary control. The heating intensity can be altered between several different levels separately for each seat to suit the occupant’s personal preference. In addition to heated driver and front passenger seats, the outer rear seats can also be equipped with seat heating.
Exterior mirrors:
A better view in all weathers: Audi offers a wide range of different configurations for exterior mirrors – electrically adjustable and/or heated and/or folding mirrors, also with the optional memory function if desired.

Memory function

A particularly handy feature if your vehicle is used by different drivers is the memory function, available as an option in conjunction with electrically adjustable seats with memory function. Various settings are stored together with the seat position and associated with the respective driver’s key. In addition, the memory function automatically tilts the mirror face of the passenger-side exterior mirror downwards when reverse gear is engaged, providing the driver with a better view of the kerb.

Heating

The exterior mirror heating responds automatically – depending on the weather conditions and humidity. The heating system uses heating foils on the reverse sides of the mirrors and switches their power on and off in cycles. The system heats as necessary depending on the temperature and the vehicle speed. The power consumption is regulated by the continuously changing internal resistance of the heating system. This ensures that the exterior mirrors are always supplied with the suitable level of current. At high humidity or low temperatures, the heating quickly removes any condensation or ice, making sure the driver has a clear view to the rear.

Electric folding

Electrically folding exterior mirrors prove especially useful when taking the vehicle through the car wash or negotiating narrow garages or tight spaces where every inch of space counts. You can fold them in using the electric mirror adjustment unit in the driver door and out again at any time by turning the knob.

Automatic anti-glare

Automatic anti-glare exterior mirrors protect the driver from headlight dazzle by automatically and progressively dimming when the light coming from behind is too bright. This prevents dangerous situations arising from glaring light reflections in the mirrors. Automatic anti-glare mirrors measure the light intensity by sensor and darken independently in response to excessively strong light. An electronic control unit varies the darkening effect quickly and continuously according to the current ambient light conditions.
